The land needs healing. Let it rain.
A good rain provides a thorough watering for my trees and plants, but the weeds are going to pop out now. Not good for this pollen-sensitive blogger.
Try a water based pre-emergent in a few weeks provided this weather holds. It should solve your pest plant problem before it becomes one.
