Paranoia prevails with the gun rights crowd. Watch this Pro8news clip where "Rick" says nothing new, but acts like he'll be persecuted for his beliefs.

True story Rights?
When youse talk about taking weapons from the peoples...
I think of my Great Granfather. who would sleep with a Mexican Fusil Mondragon from the Mexican Revlutionary War right by his Bedside.
He would show everyone how to clean and load the fusil. Everyone...tias...us kids...everyone.
After he and great Granma died grandparents kept it...right by their bedside.
Right now its at my tia Lana's house right by her bed.
We are and always will be a Weapons people.
Because now I ... have a Desert Eagle on My Side of the Bed and my wife has a .357 Magnum on her side.
I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better? And away we go. "Wow that gun is really accurate." It is only as accurate as the person behind the trigger. "Lets get rid of high capacity magazines! " With just a little practice any magazine can be exchanged in approximately 1 second. "Ban all assault weapons!" Let's rewrite the entire constitution to appease the ignorant. The substance of the "Brady Act" failed once. It will fail again. Getting Gabby Gifford to pimp an agenda will not sway the populous.
Why didn't the Japanese attack the mainland US during WWII? Because everybody in the US has a gun.
My kids have been around them so long if I left it where they could actually get to it what you would hear is " Hey dad you left your pistol out. No surprise no curiosity. They understand it for what it is. MINE!!
To answer the question to me it is auto-spell and not paying attention ...
If you think that all guns are going to be banned, then you don't know democrats. You're giving them too much credit if you think they would attempt anything like a full-out assault on all guns.
There is too much money to be made on guns. All guns are not going to disappear.
It's not that all guns are going to disappear, it is that the restrictions on owning, registering, and using them may become so burdensome that people will not have the opportunity to protect themselves.
Just look at the new New York gun laws. They will prevent those with limited incomes the potential to protect themselves.
And what happens then, is what happened in Brition right after their new gun control laws. A citizen who shot two burglars breaking into his house with a shotgun he did not have registered, was put in prison and faced several lawsuits from the burglars.
History is a curious thing, in that it repeats itself.

@ X-Laredo Onda said...Japan did not attack the mainland because the would have been seen hundreds of miles approaching the west coast and the plans of that time would not hav e made being so far out. They wanted to cripple the navy and the navy was in Pearl it was not because americans had weapons in their houses. A shot gut wont bring down an airplane flying several thousand feet in the air is so silly haha Sorry your point did not make sense at all or your point. NOW anyone invading by land say from anywhere and they land in our land now that is where you statement comes true they wont do it everyone has a gun I have a gun I have hunting guns I am a hunter but one thing for sure I dont agree on semi automatic weapons with clips holding more than 8 to 10 bullets banning that assault weapon does not infringe on my rights as a gun owner it only makes me stronger by having the police having better weapons than the people.
@NUNO...... There are very few countries that could pull off a full out air assault on the CONUS. To take the States would require a full out ground assault. Japan's failure to cripple the US Navy resulted in the deployment most heinous weapon devised by man (an American or at least American made) on Japanese soil that few have been able to duplicate baring the former USSR. Whether by shotgun or BB gun there are more guns per-capita in the US than any other civilized country in the free world. Gun ownership is one of the defining points that separates us from the rest of the world. You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. General Isoroku Yamamoto seemed to have a different view on attacking the CONUS. He ultimately surrendered on the deck of the USS. Missouri .!..

Obama gave thousands of guns to Mexico, to turn Mexico into a war zone. Where's the outrage for what he did to Mexico?
Text > Pictures, imo

You love your guns until your kid picks it up and it goes off in their head.

Paranoia? Of course there is paranoia, and well deserved paranoia at that.
The president has made it clear he wants to ban and restrict firearms.
And he has said, this his gun control proposals are a "good starting point."
The paranoia is us gun owners wondering where his "ending point" is.

Off the subject, but received an email regarding a city council meeting today in response to the Casa Blanca Wetlands.
There's a KGNS link as well.
