The mayor completed another overnight rooftop toy collection. He's been apparently doing this for many years. This year, however, was a little different. He posed after the event with the usual bounty of toy donations, but he did so in a very I-went-to-Saudi-Arabia-and-all-I-got-was-this-stupid-t-shirt manner.

UPDATE: Crews are installing some palm trees under the bridge on Guadalupe/Chihuahua. Heavy loads of mulch required.

Why doesn't someone ask the mayor for a detailed accounting of how Laredo is benefitting from his trip to Arabica? I think we should know what was gained from the trip...que no? Ask...Bet you... you won't.
