I thought that agnostics like you stayed away from the word Christmas instead naming it the Holiday season or Festivus for the rest of of you guys.

It's a force of habit from being raised Catholic. And people wishing me a Merry Christmas doesn't make my ears ring like other things.

Big stories of 2012: the mayor, and the county judge both separated from their significant others.

The judge got sent to the doghouse? That's news to me.

Laredo got a new baseball stadium, while its library hit a roadblock.

How about Laredoans do the right thing and pay taxes and get nothing in return from politicians they keep electing to screw them over and over? Have you asked the EL Alcalde for a detailed account of what The City of Laredo got in Return from his trip tp Arabia.
I got a free trip... I got a
T-shirt and laredoans do not get a detailed report of the meetings and dealins which will benefit Laredo? How much was spent (including t-shirt) and HOW is Laredo benefiting from your Trip Mr. Mayor? Not too difficult. Just make public a report answering your constituents. "Contituents? Si ni hablan Ingles those people." Bet you wont ask... why wont you ask?
