Taking a break from the barrio blogging thing to see how people in the Pacific Northwest live. I thought the weather was going to be more disagreeable but Laredo's morning drizzle gave me a preview of the weather over here. So far I've had free-range chicken eggs, local coffee, and a tour of the world's beers. Not bad for a Friday afternoon.

Will be back very soon. For now this blogger is out.
Looking good. Nice trees!
Some 600 students will participate in Fall Commencement Exercises at Texas A&M International University on Saturday at the Kinesiology-Convocation Building.
Intelligent enough to graduate...intelligent enough to leave Laredo far behind and set out for greener pastures!
The World is waiting!
This post made me think of all the educated people who leave laredo every year. Who is left behind?
Do any Graduates stay?
Even KeyRose knows to get the hell out of Laredo!

"Jotos" on LaSanbe is like a 'like' on Facebook.
Thank you, Anonymous.
How to Deal With People Who Always Complain about Laredo.
1.Accept that when you are being complained about for something you're sure you didn't do, then it's not your problem. Realize that you are not the problem, it's the one complaining who has a problem. That's right, they have a problem.
2.Don't let this person's complaining get to you. Make your face neutral, put on the 'I don't care' look. Thinking that you are a brick wall and they're the rubber ball might work. Rubber balls bounce off brick walls.
3.Ask the complainer to put their complaint in writing. Tell them that it is important that they only state the facts, not their feelings. Then encourage them to give their comments to the person(or persons) who can actually do something about their complaint. Nine times out of ten, they will stop complaining and they won't write anything down.
4.Think of the complainer as a three year old. Their life is more suited to a little kid than a teenager because all they do is whine and complain for no reason.
5.If you must walk by the complainers, walk by them with your friends. You will be less of a target.
Wow, that's a well-thought-out response to complainers. A friend of mine is a bit more direct: "We're 5 minutes from I-35, so just GTFO, you can be on your way in 5 minutes"
