You just keep getting up in the morning and go to work. These people on food stamps can live off of you. Better yet...your children and their children will have to pay higher taxes in order to keep paying for "the poor" Just go to work and pay your taxes. Pay pay...Pay.
Newt did NOT say he wanted to teach poor kids to take over "union" janitors. He said (paraphrase) that he wanted a system that would teach kids and adults the value of work vs. welfare.
Much different message that the Dem spin machine puts out.
PS, your stats are interesting as far as population data goes, but does not tell the true story behind the need for food stamps.
This president is horrible on doing those things that the government can and should do during a downturn. Giving away cash is not the ultimate answer.
I worked as a janitor at 13 to 17 to pay for my high school
tuition at a jesuit school that my family could not afford. (during the 3 month summer breaks).
Almost all my $$$ went to the school but I earned value, self esteem, and the freedom that comes with
financial independence.
I now own three businesses and work because I love it not because I need to.
It is amazing the stupidity of people who cannot understand Newt's message. I guess that explains the dependency class. sad
