Sweet Nectar

Some people see these bags and wonder why they haven't been picked up.
I, on the other hand, am thinking this stuff would make an awesome backyard compost pile.

What did we learn today?

We learned that Glen Beck had some guy named Massa on his show and it didn't go according to plan.

We learned (via Pro8news) that reports of Mexican violence has had a profound effect on business in downtown Laredo.

And we learned that a gentleman in California needed the help of law enforcement to stop his runaway Prius. This one troubles me because I have a Prius. We haven't had a problem yet but I'm seriously thinking of going with something else pretty soon.

___what to do when your vehicle gas pedal gets stuck and you are carousing wildly down the highway, turn OFF the Motor (la llave) or put it in NEUTRAL . . . duh !!!

Hey according to the Lame Mediocre Times if the violence in Mexico has no reliable sources it did not happen. So please stop spreading rumors to create hysteria .

LaSanbe abides, on both counts.

Anonymous is incorrect, if a Toyota (or any other car) accelerates wildly, do not turn the car off. If you turn the car off, you will lose power steering and power brakes and will likely make the situation worse. Put the car in neutral and slam on the brakes.

You can't turn the Prius off by turning the key....it has no key, just a "start" button. I've read in other places that some suspect the cruise control as being the culprit.

These acceleration incidents have me spooked.

I've read that the first option is to put the car in neutral, and apply to brakes to come to a stop.

If that doesn't work, then the next thing is to turn off the car by pressing the On/Off button for three seconds.

I'm waiting for Toyota to call to tell me to go pick up another car.
