You know, I don't know why people give him so much crap. He gave a lot to the Sheriff's department, got them back the respect that was lost under Garza. Yes the whole firing fiasco was a bummer, but no one looks at his record as a whole. By no means am I saying he is GOOD guy, Im saying he got the job done.
I wish his new department the best of luck. I know having a chief who has never arrested anyone in his long career is a great feat and will bring confidence and understanding of what the work is really like. I will say, rick can manage but he cant lead and certainly not by example. When you havent even given a ticket on your own you can really know what it takes to do the job. GOOD luck folks you got a good manager, and he takes a good picture with weapons he doesnt know how to use.

I wonder if his "OMG terrorists are pouring through the border send me federal money for helicopters" spiel will work over there?

It won't be long before he's sporting a rifle and posing for cameras.
HaHa, sporting a rifle! The picture came into my mind. Funny stuff KR.
