South Meadow is teeming with campaign supporters. The elementary school and the church across the street serve as polling places.
The end is near, thank gawd.
UPDATE: I may be wrong, but I don't think I've heard anything about the precinct conventions from our local party leaders.

No, we still have the run-offs, & then it's on to the city elections in May & THOSE run-offs....we'll be professional voters by the time the General Election rolls around.
BTW, go to your precinct conventions tonight at 7:15. Rs on one side, Ds on the other. Play nice & have fun. :)
We got shut out of the school library for the precinct convention in 2008. According to the school, they weren't obligated to house our little democratic exercise.
I wonder if the chuch across the street will do the same.
I have my assignment for tonight.
There will not be City/School board elections in may, in a cost saving move, City/School board elections will now be included on the NOvember General Election ballot.
so, yes, we get a respite, albeit a small one.
Well, KeyRose, the school WAS obligated to hold the convention. If no one shows up, elect yourself precinct convention chair, nominate yourself to the county convention & vote accordingly. :) Then try to track down Sergio Mora & give him your convention minutes.
