The Laredo Center for the Arts has a new neighbor opening for business today. It's a used book store, and the public is asked to make donations.
Pictured is the First United Baptist Church who also sells used books.

Did you mean the Methodist church in the Heights? They've had regular used book sales for years and years to support their humanitarian efforts.
United Baptist church is on International Blvd. (Las Brisas); I'm not aware if they have used book sales (I pass by there frequently and don't recall seeing any booksales)
Just wanted to clarify. (and I look forward to checking out what the Center for the Arts has to offer)

I might check out the new downtown bookstore this weekend. I have some books I can part with.
