A woman was seriously injured while trying to cross McPherson Rd. yesterday. It's yet another example of what seems to be an ongoing battle between pedestrians and cars -- in this case, a big truck. Details will be forthcoming and we'll find out who was more distracted.

Was she crossing at an intersection or in the middle of the street? True, pedestrians have the right of way, but there are jaywalking laws in place for a reason.

a super highway alright, mixed in with lots of drivers on the cell phones yakking or texting oblivious to pedestrians and bike riders.
mcpherson is a circus road i saw a dude riding on his motorcycle standing up on the seat, no hands on the handlebars dude was freakin awesome. that was about 8 years ago.
The worst place to cross is the intersection of the Bob Bullock Loop and Jacaman Rd. Pero mucho burros manejando como quiera.
The article I read claimed she crossed in the middle of the road to try and catch a bus.
But no doubt some personal injury attorney will be looking to sign her up to sue the beer company even if it turns out it was no fault of their driver.
