They Ride

With Border Patrol personnel having bikes, ATVs and horses at their disposal, why would they need to widen an existing road on a nature trail near Laredo Community College?

from a ret. BP: should an emergency arise and human life is at stake that road should be wide enough for an EMT ambulance to access.

36 feet sounds like a lot of road to clear.

Let me ask you this: are the roads accessible to EMS around the Slaughter Park, and Chacon Creek area?

BP is a an abomination of government failure and
a poster child for government fiscal inefficiency.. Huge budget increases for the last twenty five years and illegal immigration and the drug war have never been more out of control. The budget for the BP is close to 5 BILLION dollars that 's a lot of taxpayer wealth wasted on catching poor people looking for work.. Take away the social safety net of welfare, health care. and free public education and watch the illegal immigrant problem dry up... but no then we couldn't expand BIG brother's reach onto private lands and infringe on personal liberty.

BP has a real negative image in the community, this boondoggle road will only make them look worse.

KUDOS to ANONYMOUS on revealing the truth about
the wasteful war on illegal immigrants. Welcome
the talented hardworking people who want to immigrate legally but providing a free breakfast, lunch, dinner, schools housing food stamps health care, child care, isn't free.. and the people who favor this are usually the bleeding hearts who do not own anything or do not pay taxes. Border Patrol needs
for this mess to continue so they can expand.,,
ruin the environment, tresspass on private land,
litter, harass Mexican American citizens, and poach
deer during hunting season.. by all means let's celebrate their expansion.

The BP horse barn is over on Zapata Hwy. They need another near LCC so they won't have to trailer the steed's over there. Let's face it, you want to tip off the bad guys? Just drive in there on an ATV, or F-250.

take BP out of the equation and the thugs, Zetas, and Edgars will take over.

Keyrose, I agree 36 ft is perhaps too much. what is the average width of your home street? Mine is old gustavus. Make the road that wide and not a Clark Blvd.

Zetas ,thugs and Edgars coexist in harmony with BP, LPD< Sheriff's office.
