It's being reported that John Edwards and Rielle Hunter loved one particular Dave Matthews song. Of all the emerging news about Edwards' infidelity, this little nugget makes me want to puke. I consider myself a D.M. fan but I'm going to put his music away for a while.
It's bad enough that Dave Matthews' music falls into the adult contemporary genre, but now I'll be reminded that a smooth-talking, cheating, expensive haircut-having liar is a fan too. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that Edwards cheated while his wife was battling cancer. Asshole! He's officially entered the arena of Rudy Guliani and Newt Gingrich schmuckdom.
I've learned that people disappoint you, like the time I found out that Lynn Swann, ex-Steeler WR, was running for governor as a Republican. Edwards at least got nowhere near the Oval Office. I'll return to Dave Matthews someday; his drummer will surely lead me back. But for now I have to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

Umm, wasn't he on the Kerry ticket in 2004? Some say they actually won that election. If so, it would have been Mr. Vice President Edwards.

I actually think Ohio was stolen in 2004 but let's not open that can of beans again.
Edwards was out early in the 2008 race. Thankfully Obama didn't select him for his cabinet.
Ohio wasn't stolen - alot of the bible thumpers voted Republican to avoid the wrath of God lest gays get married.
And Edward's selfishness dwarfs that of Gingrich or Guiliani, comparing Edwards to either of those two is like comparing Hitler to Fredo Corleone.
