Pachanga

Our local hardware store, Dr. Ike's, is having a pachanga this Saturday. I'm not really sure what the occasion is, but we really don't need one.

Look for the Don Chema character (with machete in hand) to get extra savings.

I go in there every once in a while, just for old time's sake.

I've heard that small-time contractors and handy-men prefer Dr. Ike's because the quality of their lumber and other building materials is much better than the big box stores; that's why they've survived the past several years.

I'm assuming they cut down on their TV advertising because they lost the "weekend" do-it-yourselfer to the other places for the most part.
