In Laredo news, Laredo Buzz gives props to a city employee who kicks ass.
When not parking like the rest of us, Mayor Raul Salinas likes to go grocery shopping. And when he goes shopping, El Manana will be there to get his views on the need for a federally-funded center where law enforcement officials of all stripes can come together.
In case you don't know, there will be no garbage pick-up this Saturday, and all banks will be closed.

Police on Tuesday received a report from a woman who said she found thumb tacks scattered in the doorway of her residence in the 100 block of Davis Avenue and found magnetic thumb tacks stuck to her doorknob.
