These huge rolling ads don't work. Maria Elena Morales had a big billboard on wheels that promoted her candidacy for D.A. earlier this year. She lost.
And I remember one other person who had a big ride with his face on it. He lost.
Sometimes less is more.

But, but, but Louis Bruni is different!
He is running for political office "for the sake of the children." [*cough cough*] Yes, the children. That's it. You want your children safe? Vote for Bruni.
Besides, Bruni's decisions do not appear as very politically savvy.
Att: Quiroz,
Apparently you are not politaclly intune. Name recognition what Louis H. Bruni is trying to acheive. It is not a matter of rolling ads its a matter of putting your name out there so people can know what you are running for. Check out the financial report @texasethics.com; Bruni has accepted $5,000 while Zaffirini has accepted $2million in out of district contirbutions and $25,000 Las Vegas money. What does Las Vegas have to do with district 21?
I don't think Louis Bruni needs a bus to gain name recognition. He's always making dumb comments, appearing in commercials for his business, and oh yeah, he used to be county judge.
People know him.
I did catch Bruni's t.v. ad last night where he distorts Zaffirini's face, and mentions the whole Vegas connection.
But that seems to be his entire platform: smear Zaffirini.
I think Zaffirini has been there too long; I say move on.
But you have to admit, Bruni is an easy target with all his wacky behavior.
And the point I was trying to make is that candidates with big rides don't have a good track record.
Email me at chaconhippo@hotmail.com and i'll let you in on a little secret.
hint - it's about voting.
When I went to vote, I was surprised to see a third party candidate on the ballot. Happily surprised, although I can no longer remember the dude's name.
Monica gets my drift.
